I like the extended stake idea too. I worked great!

Very nice job on the Wigeons. They are definitely beautiful birds and you did an amazing job painting that FB to perfectly replicate a drake.

Great job. That is definitely 5 good reasons. Did those birds work in really close to your hand painted decoy?

The lake was filthy with widgeon today. We are usually covered with them for the month of October and first part of November.

It is hard to tell how much the one FB widgeon decoy helped with the other decoys out too (FB mallards, FB pintail, FB geese; then floaters). A real test would be to ONLY have FB widgeons. I will definately buy a few when they make them.

I would also add some fullbody widgeon to my spread as well. If they turn out anything like the fullbody pintails, I feel sorry for the widgeon population next year. Please add the widgeon and keep up the awesome job!

Thanks,

I hope since finishing the FB Pintail line wasn't on the decoy poll, that this is an understood completion... ;)

I'll be the first to admit that the bright white boat looks a like out of place, even rediculous, but the 90 hp comes in handy. I had to run around last time when four spots in a row were taken already. It turn out alright though.

I just park to boat off where I don't want the birds to land and paddle the 'rat back to the spread.
