Product Name: Greenhead Gear® Sleeper Style Full Body Mallards

Product Features and Benefits:

- Anatomically perfect body styles
- Vibrant late season paint scheme
- RetractaBase™ for fast setting and picking up
- Drop-down HotLegs™ for added realism
- Packaged 2 drakes/2 hens

Practical Product Uses:

The new GHG® Sleeper Style Full Body Mallards add an entirely new dimension to your decoy spread. The sleeper style body posture portrays a bird that is content and comfortable within its surroundings while roosting. For the best results, use the sleepers along shoreline edges, ice, sandbars, or even mix a few into the water. Placing a few sleepers within your spread will provide an irresistible look for all stages of the hunting season.

Tips for Using the Product:

Mallards typically congregate in tightly packed groups when resting and sleeping. For the most realistic spread, group the decoys within several inches apart along the water’s edge. The sleepers also work great in areas where only several inches of water is present. In shallow water areas, placing the decoys off-shore will give approaching birds the utmost confidence. In areas where the water is slightly deeper, add a few floaters to give the ultimate dimension.

For conditions where water bodies are partially frozen, the sleepers can also be positioned along the water and ice edges. Under ultra-cold conditions, Mallards will typically lay flat on their breasts to retain body heat. To replicate this look, I prefer to leave a few of the RetractaBases™ in the stow position to emulate birds lying on the ice.

In addition, use a few Active and Rester Style Full Body Mallards to offer an all around live flock appearance.

Additional Notes:

To best protect your decoy investment, use the GHG® Slotted Full Body Duck Decoy Bags. Not only will it protect your decoys, it will make storing and hauling easy.

Those are some pretty good looking decoys!!!

I am just curious about why the backs are so white while the sides are gray. I understand how drake mallards adopt a frosty colour in the late season but I would've thought that all of the gray area would now be white instead of just the back...

I am sure there is a reason but I'm just curious...

I just got some in the mail today. They even look better in person. They look so great standing right next to them, I don't see how the ducks have a chance.

Tyson- That last photo is perfect. I knew after talking to you that these were next on your list. Nicely done. They look great on the ice or in shallow water like that.

just got a harvester pack of em this weekend and I cant wait to use them. We watched birds loaf on mud flats last year and these dekes will be deadly on em this year. They look amazing in photos and even better in hand.

Great product Avery GHG!!!

Great product report Tyson. They look like the ducks at the park in December! I really think they will be the ultimate finishing touch to late season hunts when we have lots of ice and find birds up on sand bars in the river.
