LOCATION: North Texas

WEATHER: Overcast

TEMPERATURE: 60-70

WIND: South 5-10 MPH

HUNTERS: Avery Youth Field Staffers Craig and Kyle Boyd, along with our dad.

NOTES:
Got setup and loaded just as shooting time began. We were visited with singles and doubles here and their. Most of those were shovelers and teal. We stopped with 4 ducks each and headed to lunch. After the meal, we headed to a different spot and finished off our limit of 15 ducks.

Also forgot to add that my brother shot a ruddy duck hen (top left). It was the first ruddy me, my dad, or my brother have seen killed.

Congrats on the limit, I love the looks of those Drake Greenwing teal!!!

Its pretty good that you guys can eat lunch between hunts, theres nothing like an afternoon in the blind with a full stomach...

That bacon cheese burger sure did make the hunt even more enjoy able! We saw more ducks at the second spot in the middle of the day than we saw all day it was really and awsome site to see hundreds of Gadwalls, mallards, shovelers, and teal work our spread.
