First diver hunt of the year

My brother and I decided to try out the new GHG buffies and goldeneyes this morning with great success. We put out a dozen GHG buffies, 1/2 dozen GHG goldeneyes, 1/2 GHG ringnecks and 3 dozen GHG bluebills. We had ducks trying to land in the dekes before we could even finish. We and been done about 10 minutes when the first buffie hen came in. My brother dispatched her with one shot. Next a fine specimen of a buffie drake couldn't resist. My brother hadn't gotten a drake buffie before so he took him also. Next another buffie hen decided to join the party and fell to my stoger. then soon after a nice pair of buffie hens sucked in. My brother was on them before I could get my gun up and to my amazement he fired one shot and they both crashed. I couldn't believe it. I have seen that on TV but never in person. Then two more buffie hens fell to my barrel along with three coots followed by a lonely bluebill drake. all in all we had 13 ducks come into the dekes but only 2 left. I don't think thats a bad day by anyones standard. Thanks Avery for making such a great product and keep up the good work. We are going back after 'em tomorrow morning so wish us luck. We shoot mostly dippers(buffleheads) here to. As far as hitting 2 with one shot, I have done that a few times. But those occasions are few and far between. If you get'em coming in all bunched up it ain't that hard to do. either way great hunt. I must agree that the GHG dipper dekes are probably the best looking dekes I have seen. Now all I need to do is find them.:confused:

Earlier this season, i shot at a group of three mergansers and just like you said, i was amazed that two of them fell stone dead. I had never seen this before but had always heard of people doing it.
Can't beat the GHG Bufflehead dekes, they bring 'em in
