2 Long Years.

Hi all... Many of you wont remember me, but I am sure some will. My last post on this forum was going on 1 1/2 years ago. I have been away from hunting almost completely for 1 1/2 years because of frequent knee surgeries over the last few years to repair a whole lot inside my knee. 1 1/2 years ago my highschool baseball team was in the championship game and I was catching. In the 7th inning there was a play at the plate where a runner took me out while I was attempting to make the catch and tag him out. In the process he took out my left knee. The doctors almost had to replace the whole thing, but they said that over a long period of time they could fix it so I decided to go that route. And I am finally healed it took all of last duck season and a lot of this one but today I finally got back out into the field and did some hunting. Didn't do anything special just a couple of teal, but it sure was the best hunt I have ever had. I just want to thank the guys at Avery for making some great products, because if it was for those Finishers and Power Hunters I wouldn't have shot anything today. So Thank You for making my first hunt back a great one!

And also WOW!!! The forum has really changed in 1 1/2 years!!!:eek:

Glad to hear you are able to get back at it! I feel for ya, I have had 3 knee surgeries on my left knee with the last one being reconstruction. Hang in there it does get better! You will know when the weather is about to turn though cause it will hurt!
