First snow!!

Well its official the cold air has finally reached Arkansas!! It is 8:30 p.m. and it is snowing, propably wont stick or stay long but this is the earliest snow fall I have ever seen for Arkansas. My only hope is that BIG REDLEGGED FAT GREENHEADS are riding the tail winds of this really cold air. It droped 30 degrees today. Plan to go in the afternoon tomorrow and all weekend if possible. good luck to all going out this weekend.

We also got the rain fall to beat the band before the cold air hit. Rained all day here most creeks and rivers are out of their banks. Should be plenty of water for the birds when they get here.

Good luck! Im not sure how this weekend will be up here in MN, because i think most of the birds are gone. Right now the temp is 8 degrees. The lake i live on is probably frozen over now, and all of the small ponds are probably iced over too. the temp isnt supposed to be above freezing for at least a week. Yea Baby! Hopefully get a few goose hunts on the ice, if there are geese around. Time to get ready for ice fishing!

We're getting some cold weather next week but wont get any snow, i hope it sticks around until our season opens on the 15th!

its currently 59 degree's at 1030 here in ny..

the front that has brought you the snow is due to pass through here midday tomorrow..bringing winds of 40 with gust to 60..heavy rain..and a 25 degree temperature drop..

ill be out deer hunting from mid morning on..hoping to catch a 8 pointer thats been eluding me out feeding on acorns before the front hits!

if i get him early enough..maybe sneak in some late affternoon ducking affter the front hits..
