Yesterdays hunt

3 of us killed 7 ducks this morning. saw a lot of birds that have come in on this cold front.

Those were taken on a cell phone camera so the quality isn't that great but it lets you see how we did. We wound up with 2 scaup, 2 shovelers, and 3 canvasbacks. We had a group of about 20 canvasbacks or so in the decoys at one point, its amazing! I have never seen them this thick here.

Nice job on the hunt! Those are some good lookin divers you got! I've been hunting divers since I was a little kid and I still have not got a Canvasback. I don't know what the deal is!? Looks like I might have to make a road trip down your way for a shot at a nice Can!
