My hodgmans are getting pretty ragged so I'm in the market for some new waders. I was wondering what everyone uses. What have you guys had succes with? Waders are very important.

I use Cabelas Ultimate Hunting Waders, and i love them! they have Armor-Flex, so they are very tough, and warm too.

I purchased a pair of Hodgman Duramag 1200's. They are by far the best waders I have ever owned. With the fleece lining they are extremely warm and very comfortable, they also come high up on the chest, back and underarms. The hand warmer pouch is a nice item. I know everyone has their own opinion so good luck and get the ones you are comfortable with.

I second Wolf on the Cabela's waders. They are very warm and seem to be very durable.

Columbia Quad Chest Wader
The interior of the wader is contains Columbia's reflective Titanium body heat recycling system. The boot contains 1600 grams of Thinsulate Ultra insulation, and the waders come with a separate fleece wader pant.

I love them.

Scheel's has some decent waders. I've got the 600 gram thinsulate waders that are Ducks Unlimited/Scheel's. They work good for me.

The lacrosse waders are top notch. I have gone everywhere with mine for the last two years with no ill effects.

I would definately NOT get the Macks Prarie Wing's, me and a buddy of mine each got a pair this year, and we've hunted in them probably a week total, His started leaking and i started laughing at him and now mine leak, we're both sending them back as soon as we can.

I use the Herter's 2-ply waders from Cabela's. Water temp usually isn't cold enough to need much more here though. I can usually wear a good pair of thermal socks and get by just fine. Never had to come out cause of the cold...yet.
