are ducks something you can quote/unquote "run-traffic on" in dry fields, or do you pretty much need to know where they have been feeding to have it worth a hoot?

To run traffic you must do three things. #1 - scout , #2 - scout and #3 scout.

We run traffic on ducks inthe dry fields a fair amount and don't have any problem getting them to set up and finish. The 'x' is preferred, but if you can't get on it you shouldn't have too much trouble with them if you are in a good flight line and get enough birds over you.

In my area migrating ducks feed very aggressive and field hop often we try to set up on the x but this is not always possible try to at least be in the flight line if possible
