We hunt mostly water wher I live so we don't have any field decoys. If we slid the kills off of some GHG decoys, would that work on a field.

yes, that would work... Make sure you scout with great detail! Because if you dont setup exactly where they want to be, you won't have the edge one em by using FB dekes. Try to use Fullbody Decoys that have motion - It will look more natural and have a better appeal to the ducks... I recommend buying at least 12 full body mallards from GHG that way could get some motion. A lot of the time, the birds can't see the decoys until they see em moving... I use about 6-8 dozen FB Mallards(GHG) and I knock the piss out of em here in Chehalis, WA.... Plus, since you said you primarily hunt water - When it gets to be later in the season and your hunting an opening in the ice- A couple FB mallards on the edges add's tremendous realizm... All around - no one can go wrong with having 6-12 FB GHG Mallards in there collection...
Good luck - Hope this helps ya...

Even seen some guys put their fullbodys on stakes above water. Saw on this forum a guy that did that with fullbody geese and it looked sweet.
