guys and gals, i'm really looking forward to this trip, but thought i'd ask what are the "must haves" so far as clothing to make it as "unmiserable" as possible?
the area will be the "cape cod" area, so wind/water/COLD are really on my mind, considering i live in mississippi.
thanks, gator

hand warmers in a handwarming pouch! my buddies as well as my fingers have been so cold they were swolen to the point of not being able to move them, get a good hand warming muff like the avery neoprene one, i wont go hunting on cold days with out it, throw two of the hot hands packets in that baby and you will be as happy as a clam!!! (if you dont wear gloves, because i dont feel i shoot, or call good with gloves on) a face mask is nice to have too, because of the wind comming off of the water. and layer up! good luck and i cant wait to see the pictures!

Wool gloves or fleece lined neoprene gloves (plus the hand warmer). A jacket that is absolutely wind proof/waterproof. The wind is a big factor in the coastal northeast. Turtle head or the fleece neck gaiter will make life tolerable. If you're seaducking you don't need to call so learn to shoot with gloves on. The wind and cold weather will make your barely hands numb instantly. Seriously its not uncommon to have a wind chill below zero, even though the air temp may only be 15-20 degrees.

Get yourself a handwarmer muff and some disposable handwarmers. I would also go with the boot warmers that are kinda like an insole, they work great. Where a wool sweater and some good long johns. I would also go turtlehead and skull cap. As far as gloves for slow times buy yourself a good pair of lobstering gloves. They will keep your hands warm even if they are wet, and are easy to get on/off when your hands get numb...
