Well since they weren't really going to the fields lately we decided to go after them on the water instead. We had pretty much the whole place to ourselves other than one group and the 3-4,000 geese and atleast that many ducks who were all roosting here. Put out 2 lookers, 1 doz shells (10 sleepers), 6 hunter series actives, and 1 doz progrades (1/2 actives and 1/2 feeders) on the mud flat and we hid in our finishers in the grass. 4 of us ended up killing 6 honkers (too bad duck season is over!), its hard keeping them out of the live geese! Here's a few pictures....

Sounds like you have been doing better than me. I have only chased them once and came home empty. They just aren't flying much in the fields.

At least the Pheasant hunting has been pretty productive this year for me.

Sounds like a great hunt Christian. For us it's the other way around. I wish the Goose season was still open.
