I think they are around $350 new. They are excellent guns. I would agree with Eric. Get you a kicks high flyer and you'll be ready to go. My best friend's son shot a turkey with his this spring stepped off at 70 yards.

dirtbag save your shoulder and your wallet and buy something different. i am not one to bash on a product but the people that i know that have owned them only owned them for a short time and decided to move on to something else. I own 3 benelis, but the nova is NOT one of them

I am a big benelli fan and use a Benelli M1 super 90 but would back up weatherby comments, I talk to a lot of hunters when carrying out my Fish and Game duties, and just about all who have nova pumps are very unhappy with some aspects of the gun, I am sure there will be some others who will like them? But maybe you should fire a few shots before you buy???
Hope it works out for you!

thx for info. I think i will stay with a rem 870. the only draw back i have ever had in 25 yrs of shooting them is remington shells jam in them lol. mud, snow, ice, water never causes jams or misfires. that is why i went to a pump and wont go back. the 870 is like a timex takes a licken and keeps on ticken. no bells and whistles, but less to malfunction

The Nova is a good gun. I have a couple friends that have them. They typically don't shoot 3.5" shells through them so they haven't complained about recoil. If you are sensitive to recoil, consider a Supernova with recoil reduction features.

I have had a black Nova for 4-5 years (got one of the first ones). I have shot tons of 3.5 inch steel and turkey loads through it with no problems. In fact I liked it so well I bought a second one two years ago. Functions well, in fact I did some field testing and didn't clean mine for a full year (other than making sure the barrel wasn't obstructed and wiping off the mud with a rag) and had no issues. Through the years I had a few problems with the "green ones" but I would highly recommend the Nova! Get a 26 inch barrel though.

I have owned a NOVA for 5-6 seasons and love it, but it does kick! This year I went out and bought a new Super NOVA with the comfor tech stock, the same stock that is on the SBE II and it is awesome!!! There is no kick and you can put 3 different stocks on the gun. I also bought a new steady grip with it for turkey hunting. For the money you cant buy a gun that is even close to it. Check out this gun, you wont be sorry, I LOVE it!!! guideman

Had mine for about 6 years now. Haven't had very many problems but only clean it once a year. It prolly has some of the most abuse of any gun. I just bought a Stoeger M-2000 because i wanted a semi auto but they are too unreliable to me. I love my Nova and wouldn't trade it for any other gun out there.

My Uncle Knows someone who dropped their Nova into a River. They couldnt see it anywhere so later on when hunting there, they saw it on a sandy part. They took it out, shot it, and worked fine. Them things can be used for a boat oar if you want to. :)

I bought a Black Nova this fall and used it in some pretty extreme weather conditions (ND all fall/early winter) and it worked like a champ. My hunting partners use mostly Novas and I couldn't believe the range and killing power Novas had. Not saying it's the best gun out there by any means, but it certainly works great and you really can't beat the price.

I use a nova and it works well for me. I have the mercury recoil reducer tube in the butt stock and that sure makes the 3 1/2's not kick as bad.
The fact that I can change the chokes out with after markets makes it worth alot more to me then my old 870. My Nova does not kick near as bad as my 870.

I have been shooting a Nova for the past 5 seasons. I do a lot of guiding and I can tell you that this gun takes a beating. When I have clients in the field all y attention is on them and not my equipment. I have droped it in the mudd, water, and snow. I never clean it and it has never let me down. I think as far as pumps go you cant go wrong with a nova.

I have used two Nova's for a few years and I have shot 870's, BPS, and Winchesters. All have been very good guns. Now, in the pit, marsh, snow, dirt, stubble, and all the things that jam guns in the worst of conditions and the harshest of treatment. The Nova has never jammed from anything, handles loads very nicely, and I can treat them poorly with 100% service in return. Why two? Chokes and barrel lengths so I am ready to grab what I need in a moment. I especially marvel at the ability to take in mud or dirt in the receiver but still keep shooting fine. The ability to tolerate things like that make it the gun of choice for me in the field. The only thing that I can say about it is that if you don't pump it back when you want to eject a shell, trouble can brew when the empty doesn't eject and the second shell in the magazine comes back and then you need a multi-tool to cut and extract the spent shell. It doesn't happen to me any more, I learned after a couple of times! :)

havent cleaned mine in 3 years and never had a problem, (i dont sugest doing that though) my only complaint is the rattle in the stock, other than that i love it, iv shot every thing out of it, slugs, high brass non-tox, steel, every thing. iv probly shot 2 cases out of it this year alone, unfortunalty not totally on ducks. but a great gun, a real mud gun

I have one in all black that I use as a back-up gun when the weather conditions are real nasty. It functons flawlessly and is a killing machine. I have used most of the brands of pump guns out there and the Nova doesn't kick any more than any other pump. I think it's a great gun for the $.
