I'm not gonna get on here & bash Avery & talk about how crappy the product is, etc. However, I do have a few questions. I got 2 boxes (1 dozen) of the oversize mallards & a box of the widgeons for Christmas. I've hunted them 6 or 7 times since then & the paint's already chipping pretty bad. A couple of the drakes had paint missing as soon as I took them out of the box & I just shrugged it off as nothing major, but after seeing what they're doing in this short period of time, I can't help but be VERY concerned. They are, in my opinion, the ABSOLUTE best looking decoys out there. I'm going to call customer service again tomorrow (they were doing inventory when I called today) & see what they recommend, but again, I LOVE the looks of these decoys & I don't want to do without them for these last 4 weeks of season when the ducks are FAR more skittish.

Anyway, my understanding was that they got all the paint issues resolved a couple of years ago. Am I mistaken?

By the way, here are a few pics of the decoys in action on one of their first hunts...

Nice pictures of 'the coffin'! Any more of them?

Awesome BWT and Bull Sprig.

How bad are your dekes? The one in the pic looks pristine!

Not any close-ups, if that's what you mean...here's a couple more, but they don't give you much more info...

Thanks...they're pretty easy to come by down at this particular place...it's the mallards that are a lot less common, believe it or not. The blue winger was a pretty impressive bird, though....

I just went out & took 2 pics of each (head & tail) of the first 2 I pulled out of the decoy bag....

Nope...not a single one has been shot (not that it has never happened in the past). ;)

Looks like you guys have had some great hunts. As the guys said give CS a call, they can fix you up. Not to be nosey but that shot on the picnic table looks very familiar. Are you in the El Campo area?

Yeah I was looking for more "interior" or "detailed" pics of the coffin. Seems like a sweet setup.

That BWer is a mounter for sure!!!

Thanks for sharing your pictures!

I have a friend that fills his daily decoy limit almost every time we go. Now he has moved onto the Full Bodies.

Nope...not a single one has been shot (not that it has never happened in the past). ;)
