Here is the pick of the pintail i got this season. He was my first and I think the taxidermist did a top notch job and only took him 2 weeks from start to finish.

Man is that a banded pintail?

I killed my first Bull Sprig this year too. I planned on having him mounted but his spig was only about 2".
He sure ate good though :D

That is just a band the taxidermist put on with his info. I wish he was when I shot him.

This guys name is Mark Thomas and he charges $135 for a standard mount(sitting like mine or flying) If you want anything special (water scene for example) it costs an extra $50. I couldn't believe his turn around. My brothers gotten him to mount 3 woodies, 2 broad bills and two buffies all in the last 3 months and all with about a 2 week turn around. I'll try and get some pics of his mounts up. You won't believe the buffie mount, It's outstanding.

I can't believe it only costed 135 bucks! It's hard to find a decent taxidermist around my area for less than 200 bucks.

He probably wasn't a "trophy" bird by most standards but he sure was to me. He's only got about a 3-1/2" sprig but they are hard to come by around here and didn't know if I would get another chance at one.
