First Canvasback of the season

This is the first can of the season and the only one We have seen so far.

Our season ends today the 27th

We also ended up with a three man limit of bluebills and a nice honker.

Not the best day for pics, and finally when it did become light out the sun went behind a cloud right when i was tring to get some nice shots at the end of the hunt

Wow. I wish we had Cans colored out like that. Ours are not near the trophy that you have there when they come through. Living in the north is a blessing and a curse. We get first crack at the birds, but, they are never the beautiful color that you guys get.
