My spot looks like a dang NWR. :D There are mallards, 3 different mergansers, tundra swans, canadas, scaup, and a flock of around 200 ring neck ducks! In all my years of hunting I've never seen so many ducks at once. I suppose the growth of the bay grasses may have something to do with it as the river bottom has shore to shore carpeting over most of the year. Not able to get good pics since I only have a point and shoot and they are still skittish. Now if we can just get canvasbacks in those kind of numbers.

Any one else have this problem?:p

Agreed, We finally killed a canvasback the third to last day of the season.

It was the only one we saw.

Saw lots of cans in MN this year. More than I've seen in a long time.
