This was the last Sat. of the season and all got together for the last stand. It had got cold at last and everything was in place. The geese were going to the horse farm down the road. So we would have the pull them over. We put out 40 doz FFDs and 7 Power Hunters. The rest is for the record book. I am glad it all came together with all my good friends.
The Rig !!!!!!!!

If I saw you rig and I was scouting my pulse would have quickened, so I can certainly understand how the geese were lured in. That is one beautiful finale to what has been an unrelentingly awesome season for you folks!

Sleep is for the weak brother, you know that. Besides, still waiting for our "guest" Rambo to call me so I can pick him up. It's hard having "outsiders" in town.
We're going to show everyone how the Mid-Atlantic Mafia rolls in the AM, stay tuned.

Good job guys!
Many of you may remember the kid's books "Where's Waldo", now, I think we need to come up with a new book called "Where's Rambo" where the object is to find Derek in hunting pictures from all over North America.
Good luck in the morning boys and don't sleep in!

Rambo and Cup.....
Thanks for coming all the way up here to hunt it was a ball to have you 2 guys in the feild......
Everyone thought the birds were going to be on the move today before this snow and ice came in....BOY WERE WE WRONG!!!!!!!!!
The geese just did'nt move the way we tought they would today,Last week well over 5,000 geese flew over this farm ....Today we would've been lucky to have had 300.....Most were about a mile to the west of us.....Well thats goose hunting I guess....Just make's it better when you do get into um'.....
We only killed 6 but those birds were ''right''.....I knew we we in trouble when the 1st. geese we seen fell right on in the ''kill hole'' as Paul would say......Next time Rambo...next time.

It was funny ...The big guy started to turn over the ffd shells we had around the blind ....I guess looking for more geese or illegal game......So told him that the full bodies have a small hole in them that we sometimes shove ducks into and that he should statt checking them too....All 35 or 40 doz.....We all sat there and laughed...........Then the farmer gave it to um' for flying though the yard at a high rate of speed.....
