I have an old finisher that is not waterproof or water resistant.
I like the finish on it and don't really want to rewash it if I don't have to.
Has any of you ever applied anything like campdry to your blind and had it work.
Open to any and all ideas, Thank you

I have a friend that has an old Finisher like you do and he applies a coat of CampDry before the season comes in to his blind. However, just like with anything else, the CampDry only lasts so long before it takes on water. Unfortunately, as far as I know this would be your only option however. There are a variety of sprays out there that would work. Personally Ive never been impressed with the performance of CampDry on anything. If your blind is mudded, your going to have to wash it to allow the waterproof spray to soak into the fabric. Maybe look into the link below:

I would get a Neo-Tub for you Finisher if you want it waterproofed. Best bet and you don't have to constantly re-apply it each season. Just my opinion if you are looking for true waterproofing!

Here's why you should have Neo-Tub.

Neo tub, a great addition to your blind!
I think I'll buy some next season for those crappy conditions

IF you don't want to go with camp dry, then something that is silicon based will work. My only concern is that silicon could reflect UV light. I am not 100% sure but would wonder if the geese would notice anything.
Besides silicon, go with NIKWAX. I use this stuff on everthing. They make formulas for cotton, leather, nylon, down, and various other materials. It works VERY well on everything i own. I work in the retail business and we sell nikwax 20 to 1 of another brand. It is a 'wax' based substance and is easy to apply. The actual mixture has the consistency of water but appears slightly cloudy. It has an applicator top. I would think 2 bottles would be needed to cover an entire blind.
