Here is proof that the Zink LM-1 and GHG ffd Lessers are a deadly combination. This is goose was banded in 1996 and hatched in 1995 or earlier, but even at this age he had no hesitation while dropping into a spread of ffd's. This was a rare treat in Alaska as there are not many banded birds up here, let alone neck collars.

P.S. This I shot this bird back in October, all that green grass is now covered up with several feet of snow.

I could not agree more with you. I love this combination. The birds really do eat up the buzzy clucks that can be made with the Little Man. The realistic goose sounds combined with the Greenhead Gear Lesser Full Bodies is always the ticket for us.

Good Hunting!

Congratulations, your combination was lethal on what I think is the only neck collared Canada harvested by and Avery Youth Field Staffer this year, and for it to be that old is a true accomplishment!

Congrats on the collar, and the goose. The FFD lessers are definitely one of my favorite additions to the line up.

That is a great combination. I used all FFD Lessers this year and had great success on everything from big geese to cacklers. Congrats on the collar.

I also noticed the same thing this year, especially on late season birds. The LM-1 along with the FFD lessers means damage to the goose population.

Great job on the collared goose Luke.

Thanks for the picture.
Where was it banded?

Eric,
The bird was banded in Potter, Alaska. I believe this means it was banded in Anchorage at a local refuge which is called Potter's marsh, as I don't know of any other places in Alaska called "Potter".
