Me and couple guys are thinking about making the trip down to Arkansas this fall, and I was just wondering, what does the out of state tags cost? We will be free lancing so what would you recommend doing, we would like to try out some timber. Just trying to set something up. Thanks for your help.

well guys I don't now that much about licensing, BUt as far as freelancing goes you can find a lot of good info on the agfc website. There are some very good public hunting areas around the state. I live in south arkansas and willl be glad to help you out with any info you need. just PM me sometime.

Well, guys come on we would love to have you here hin Arkansas. I live just 30 miles north of Stuggart, and have hunted anywhere from Stuggart to some of the best duck clubs here in Arkansas. If you would like to get in some good hunts watch the River Stages here in Arkansas and when the White and Cashe River get to flood stages (around 26 to 29 feet) thats the time to go. You can get in on some good Flooded Green Timber. If you have never hunted flooded timber then you will be in for an experience of a lifetime, when you see a duck at eye level that is going into a hoover and has to touch the water to get back up its something you have to see looking down the barrell of your gun. You can hunt the White River Refuge or Cashe River Refuge. Look for Clarendon Ar and that is a good point to start. If you want to get a good lodge I help two lodges, BoonDock and Ducks and Dogs. I help them with guiding and some work and can tell you they can forsure put you on some good greentimber hunts. If you want to PM me and ill give you my number and ill help you anyway I can.

Also try and see when the fields freeze over and the sun is shinning!!
