How many full six slot bags will fit in the average 6 1/2 foot pickup box with a topper? I'm talking about the full size honker dekes.

Steve there is a great dual axle trailer that was a repo at the bank by my house. It is very well priced as well, if you are intrested.
By the way I had the same thought about not wanting to but a trailer and mess with it. After using it and having all that stuff that"you may need" always with me is a huge plus. I never go without it now.
PM me your number if you want the Bank info.

I would bet you could get 8 bags full of full bodies. With a topper.

That's what I'm talkin' about Eric! Eight is a good number. That's four dozen full bodies and a couple dozen shells. That's not a bad spread.
I know I'll eventually need a trailer, but after I buy the boat this summer, the wife will need some time for things to settle before I spring the trailer thing on her.

Mallardbreath,
Here's an idea, tell your wife they threw the trailer in free when you bought the boat, then you'll have both before next season. She can't get mad then. How can she get mad about a good deal like that?

LOL. I went the other route Steve. I bought the trailer before the boat!! I have the wife convinced we need a new War Eagle next year so we can use it for fishing!!:D I told her the camo was so the fish wouldn't see the bottom of the boat!!:D

I like that one!! When i buy decoys and stuff i get rid of the box at the store so she dont see it. no box nothing bought:D I need a new boat for fishing this yr but i dont think she will buy the camo thing tho. just come out and tell her how versital it will be,, and its a good investment so i can also hunt with it:D
