View Full Version : Season Ended Yesterday :(

Our season ended with a bang this year! We hunted a field that had about 1500 geese in it the day before. Ended up hunting with 2 dz. GHG fullbodies and landed about 500 birds. We limited 4 guys and a bonus snow goose. This season was my BEST BY FAR and I think the GHG decoys really helped me out a lot this year. We landed birds all year and never had a problem getting birds to come in. I'm definitely adding more FFD to the spread for next year. I can't wait to chase them again next year! The snows are starting to show up so its gonna be killing time!

Nice work fellas. It sounds like you guys worked hard for the birds and that hard work really payed off for all of you. It looks like you better start getting ready for the 2007-2008 season as it is just around the corner.

I would like to see some pictures of that hunt. What kind of full bodies did you use? Hunter Series, Pro Grades or FFDs? Congrats on the season and thanks for the support of GHG and Avery.

Well I had my digital camera but didn't know the batteries were dead! I thought they were charged up but would only let me turn it on but not take pics. My buddy has some on his phone I will try to get off this weekend. We used 7 GHG Hunter Series (4 Lookers and 3 Feeders) and a dozen FFD lessers (6 actives and 6 feeders). Anybody have any extra footbases? I think I need 3 for some feeders. I don't really want to convert to the motion cones because I don't like having TOO MUCH motion. I've been seeing the snow geese move in and have a buddy that has 14 dz. GHG snows so I'll get some pics on a hunt with him soon.
