Whats up fellow waterfowlers. I just joined this site and I must say I am quite impressed. I'm a college student that goes to school in Kansas, but I'm from Nebraska. I just want to say hey and am interested in talking with anyone that hunts in Kansas or Nebraska. Here are some pics from this year.

Jon,
Welcome to the Avery Message Board. I am also originally from Nebraska as well. You've got some good waterfowling up by Omaha. I don't see any pictures right off hand so if you need to there is a tutorial on how to post pics on one of the forums. I look forward to hearing some of your experiences and getting a chance to see some more pictures.

I'm from about as far from Kansas as possible but I can't see a stack of green like that and not barrage the person who posted it with accolades! Those are some awesome pictures!

Actually, I am 3 miles north of Overton, Ne, and I just stepped outside and heard the snows flying around the house and local fields. There was a bunch of them. Too bad I don't hunt them darn things!!!!!

Why dont you hunt them. They are the hardest birds to shot because of their lack of decoying. I think that it is fun come on JD you have to go and get some. If you dont like the taste of the meat donated it. Plus this season is saving the tundra every waterfowler should be out helping out this cause.

Well, my main reason for not hunting them is becuase I have no time. Usually when it's time to be killin snows I am working on the farm gettin ready for planting season or we are in the heart of calving season. Another reason is, I don't have enough money for decoys and what not, all of that goes towards my duck and canada goose hunting gear. I mean if somone was to call me and ask me to go along and it was a Sunday or something I would go, but I ain't really gunna go too far out of my way because my uncle needs my help during this time of year.
