just wanted to know if ghg fullbodie mallards in the feeder and actives are going to come out with the retraca base?

While I am not 100% sure that it isn't going to happen, I would kind of doubt it as it would remove motion from the decoys. That is unless we can develop something that allows for motion, but from an engineering standpoint, that could be a tough one to overcome.

I like the retracta base on the resters/sleepres as they do not need motion, but on the feeders/actives I really like what the motion gives to the decoy.

Nzer,
Dave is right, having motion on your feeders and actives will give your spread a more life like and realistic appearance ultimately putting more birds in your freezer.

The feeders and actives will not have the retracta-base. It would add to the cost and retail price to do this. We added the motion lock to the front of the cone for those of you that don't want motion on your actives and feeders.

Thanks,

As Rick said, no need to add to the price with the lock there. I can't think of many applications where I wouldn't want the motion anyway.

Motion is the key to realistic spreads. If you do want the decoys to be static, then you can you use the lock in the front of the motion cone.

The motion lock was just a perfect idea and solved a lot of problems.

Shawn, what kind of problems were you having? The only problem I ran into in Iowa was getting enough birds to migrate through my area!!!!

When the wind was blowing 35 - 45 out of the West and we wanted to tame down the motion a little all we had to do was engage the motion lock.

It has been talked about but I am not certain if it will be done for 07.
