I am looking for a new choke tube an extended range one for geese for a benelli nova 12 guage. What choke tube do you prefer?

I was given a PM last year and shot it at everything this past season.........all I can say is awesome!!! Once you get used to the "tight" pattern and readjusting your swing due to the short shot string you will never take it out of your gun!!

Patternmaster all the way. I used to use a Kicks with great success and there's nothing wrong with them at all, but stepping UP to the PM was the best thing I did for my shooting. Tighter patterns can be tough to get used to, but once you figure it out, there'll be lots more kills and alot fewer cripples.

I have used a PM for the last several seasons and would not use anything else. Just my opinion.

I shoot a Kicks High Flyer Xtra Full and it is great!! I had a flock come in while I was in the decoys and there was a snow with it so from the time it took me to run from the dekes to my gun they went from 20 yards to 80 yards and I still knocked the snow down and another canada. Or, if you like to try and blow their heads clean off so no cripples the Kicks is the way to go. It sticks out another 2 1/2-3 inches out of the barrel and lets off about 75% of the felt recoil. It helped me alot this year for dropping one bird and moving to the next. it is very nice!

Ditto, i have the patternmaster and it helped me out a lot.

Like he said tougher patterns can be tough to get use to.

But when you find that sweet spot you'll be knocking 'em dead and less cripples.

Good luck !

Patternmaster for me...here is a photo to show its power. This one was decapitated at less than 10 yards.

Pattern Master gets my vote as well. I've done patterning work and some loads are outstanding and others are ok. I've read a lot of posts from guys saying that pattern master stinks at hi-vel loads but I find this to be false because the best pattern to ever come out of my patternmaster and nova as a 3" 3 at 1550...On the paper there was only 9 shot outside of the 30 inch circle at 40 yards. PM definately gets my vote!

I have had both. I am now a Pattern Master guy 100%. I also talked to them when they were here at the Pheasant Fest last month. They seem like great people.
Thanks

I've seen the Pattern Master in action on an 870, a Browning Gold Hunter, and a Browning BPS and it is impressive. For really reaching out there it is the way to go.

I have been shooting the wad stripper chokes for about 4 years now and absolutely love them! This year I finally picked up a couple Terror chokes and found that my gun patterns the heavy fast steel loads better through these than the stripper chokes.
