If i were you i would go to the store and buy some 12 slot bags and some hooks and hang them from the wall. Up and out of the way for little hands.:D :D

the 12 slot bags are the only way to go if you want to keep the paint, sun bleaching and dust off of them.

use a 12 slot bag and hang them from the ceiling or make a shelf up on the rafters to put them on.

The twelve slot bags work great, another thing that works well is to let them have some"old" decoys that youdon't mind seeing beat up by little hands, this is what I do and it works great.

What we do at my huntin' club, take 2x4 and nail them to the beams. Then make a platform and nail them to the 2x4.So the fullbodies can sit on the platform. It really works get!

Another trick you might try is to drill a 1/4" hole in the underside of the tail of each decoy. Then hang them in the 2x4 studs in your garage using finishing nails. I do this for my GHG full body snows and blues. It's quick and inexpensive. The hole in the tail of the decoy is so small, it won't hurt anything. When I'm ready to hunt, I can back the trailer in the garage and fill it up quickly. This way, I can swap my honker spread out for my snow goose spread when I need to.

We built a loft up in our garage. It work awesome because they are 100% out of the way and it is inexpensive. Our holds about 10 dozen full bodies 7 or 8 layout blinds and a ton of shells and mallard deks. The 12 slots are awesome and I use them for my new deks but, if you have a large number of deks it will be very expensive.

My nail + hole idea is patent pending. You can't have it!

Just kidding. I hope it helps a lot of people with storing decoys. I know it works well for me. What could be cheaper and easier than a nail and a hole? Plus, with most garages it should take a long time to fill them up -- you can buy more GHG decoys!!!

I guess I haven't had that problem. I doubt it gets any hotter than the inside of the trailer.

The decoys look great after storing them one season. If you're going to store them this way, I'd be more concerned with wasps and birds. I did shake a bird out of one of the decoys last fall.

A good buddy of mine has been storing his dekes like that in the garage for a couple years now and has not had any troubles that I know of. It is a great way to store them in the offseason if you need access to your trailer in the offseason.
