The dog stand is going to be a great seller all over the country, especially for the hunters that are on public lands day in and day out. The stand is lightweight and easy to pack. I am sure that there will be some pictures of the new pattern soon.

Justin Tackett is a tad over 150 pounds and he has jumped on many of these and has not broken one yet! These things can handle some abuse!!!

Rick - thanks for this info. I'm looking forward to seeing these in person. Now forgive my confusion, but are these two different stands or are they two configurations of the same platform?
If they are two different stands, since they seem to have the same platform dimension could the top be fitted to work with both sets of legs?
That kind of versatility would be real helpful.

The Field Stand (not to be confused with the Ruff Stand) was designed for use in shallow flooded fields, sloughs, and on the edges.
In most flyways you'll find a 4 or 5 specific uses the Field Stand will be ideal for. The Field Stand's platform is specifically designed to be used in conjunction with the Ground Force Dog Blind......fits perfectly.
Anywhere you can use a Neo-Tub you can use a Field Stand.
The Ruff Stand:
Flooded Timber
Potholes
Sloughs
In the boat as a platform to get your dog into good marking postion.
Good place to eat lunch at kids soccer games
Good table for electronics, eats and drinks while training
Good table to work on forced hold
Great place to do any kinda of first aid on your buddy or your dog
Good place to clean birds by the light of your truck bed.
No matter how hard you use it....anyboady pro/am can get 4 to 5 years minimum out of it. Most will never buy another. Not much there to break. Very good tool and should hopefully be here soon.
Guys/TM's...What retailers have stocked good quanities of the Ruff Stand other than Sportsman's Warehouse?
PS. Seriously don't stand on it unless you just have to.....it can take it, but sooner or later I'm going down.
Thanks,
JT

JT, thanks for the suggestions on the multiple uses of this stand, I am sure there are many more.
I am sure you are going down one of these days.

Any chance we'll know when this will be available? I just checked Cabelas and Macks with no luck. If its on there, please post a link, looking to place an order soon and given the costs associated with the dog collar, I'd like to add one of these in and hopefully save a few bucks on shipping, thanks!

You should start to see the stands in Aug/Sept. time frame.

I'll keep my fingers crossed its earlier than later as Sept will be to late for this season. Really would like Julyish so I can train with it....I'll keep my fingers crossed!

I agree on being worth the wait. I get to see the new stands for the first time, and have never saw another stand that could stand up against the new ones!! I cannot wait to order mine!!

Thanks for the info guys, I'll keep my fingers crossed it shows up sooner than later, and in the mean time, I've got plan to build a wooden training one for the backyard that hopefully I can get the dogs used to prior to the season!
