Our duck club is looking into buying new spec decoys for hunting flooded rice fields. We've been using Herter's plastic floaters and some of the foam floaters. What I'd like to know is what bags would you recommend for the FFD Specs and then the floaters. I want something that will protect them from the nasty gumbo roads and in the fields. Some of these fields are just plain nasty and everything ends up covered in mud. We'll be hauling these either on the back of a 4 wheeler or in the back of a Polaris Ranger 4x4. I'm thinking maybe a doz FFD specs, and a doz Spec floaters. Some of the pits we hunt have extremely shallow areas that are perfect for using a full body decoy, and we've decided we want to try the GHG dekes. Thanks, Scott
Oh yeah, seems like I read where Avery is gonna do a harvester spec deal this year. What all would you get with that?

You get 4 feeders and 2 actives in the Harvester pack of Specks. You should take a good look at our L/S floating Specks. The best bag for both is the 6-slot Lesser, Speck, Snow, Blue full body bag. Remember that you will receive a bag with your FFD Specks this year.
Thanks,

We used a 6-slot Mid Size goose bag this year in a rice field in AR for our Pro-Grade Specks. We used them basically weekend in January and we would put them into the bag after every hunt. They never got muddy, and the bag has a draw string top to protect them too.

The Mid-Size bag also comes with the top so that the decoys are totally protected.

Like Rick said, you will receive a bag with the FFD specks this year. You will be very happy with the FFDs. That is all that I used this year and the birds ate them up. The bag that comes with the FFD specks will work great with the speck floaters as well.

That combination is what you will need to add to your duck spread in rice and bean field. Sure you will enjoy them.
