Any good ways of getting blood out of the flocking without scrubbing the flocking off? How durrable is the replacement flocking that GHG makes, any of you guys used it?

Cluck,
Hydrogen peroxide can be used to remove blood from flocking. Just soak the affected area to loosen the blood from the flocking and wash the blood off with a garden hose. Do not scrub the area with a brush as this will cause damage to the flocking. I hope this helps and if you have any other questions please feel free to give me a shout. Thank you for choosing Avery/Greenhead Gear. I hope your upcoming season is the best yet!

Try dawn dish soap. The original orange version. Let it soak a bit and rinse it off.

We use original dawn to clean our birds we are mounting and it cleans blood off white feathers like it wasn't even there. I'm sure it would work.

Cluck,
Peroxide shouldn't beach out your decoys if washed off as soon as the blood has loosened from the flocking. You will be able to tell when the peroxide begins to loosen the blood as it will change color. That is when you need to wash it off with a low pressure garden hose. You want to be sure to wash all of the peroxide off the decoy once it has done it's job. I have done it in the past and it's real easy... Just apply and wash off.

Thanks guys, I was told that once you get blood on the flocking, its like impossible to get out, but it must not be.

I would be cautious using certain detergents as they may contain UV brighteners...
