I like the fact that the kit comes with all the stuff you need to get the job done - brushes, glue, gloves, etc.
Thanks,

Jeff,
Glad you liked the kit. It makes touch up real simple. Good Luck this coming season.

Okay, so I'm new to all of this. I've been reading the boards on this website though for about a month and really enjoy learning from all of you. So here goes my first question. I got a dozen used G&H Honker Mirage (I know, GHG would be better). They do not have flocked heads. I love the look of flocked heads and especially the FFD Elites flocked bodies. Should I consider buying an Avery flocking kit and adding the flocking to the G&H heads? Is this an obvious yes? Does it really make that much difference? Should I consider buying replacement heads instead that are already flocked?
Also, with only a dozen mirage and two dozen shells with flocked heads, obviously I need to add more to my spread. Would it be better to buy GHG shells with motion stakes or pony up for fewer FFD Elites? If money wasn't an issue, I would just buy a few dozen elites. But would it be better to buy say 2 more dozen shells or 8 or so elites? A dozen new Hot Buy GHG shells with motion stakes being about $120 through Rodgers or a local retailer or 6 FFD Elites being about $180 through Rogers or a local retailer. What does everyone think? Thanks for your time and patience with a newby.

Chad,
If I were you and money is not an issue, I would go with the FFDs everytime. Whether you get the full bodies or shells is up to you. I will all depend on the situations that you hunt.

I would also flock the heads on your other decoys. Flocking does so much to eliminate the shine for dew and frost. You can't go wrong by doing it.
