Hey guys, I was looking into getting a trailer for this fall, and I was wondering what you thoght would be a good price for one. I am looking into just something small like a 5x8, I just need a good starter one since i'm only 16 and need money for gas and decoys. I was just wondering what you thought would be a reasonable price for a used 5x8? Thanks.

There are a ton of variables on this, so who knows for sure. I just sold a 5x10 that looked kind of rough (but was solid and had new tires, new wheel wells, and just got the bearings packed) for 1200 if that gives you any clue. Used trailers can be tough to find. When you do find one, they are gone in short order, so if you find one, GET IT.

Mark's absolutely right. Trailers can cost anywhere from hundreds to thousands of dollars. You get what you pay for. If you keep you eyes open you should be able to find something reasonable but be ready to buy. You should be able to find something for around $1000 to $1500. Try putting an add in your classifieds stating exactly what you want and how much you're willing to pay.

The internet is a great place to start your search. I found a used 12 ft trailer that looked new for $1800. It is in great shape and will be using it for quite some time. I would recommend using a search engine to find what you want. Good luck!

We might have a 4x8 for sale late this summer. It is home made but we have about 10 doz dekes that we fit in it. It is a light trailer that can be pulled by a small truck. PM me for more details. We would sell for about 600 bucks

I just bought a used 6x10 for 1600 that came with 3 dz. GHG fullbodies. Already has floodlights and had plywood shelving but all of that came out and we redid it using the rod system. Its not in perfect shape but is in good shape and still looks pretty good.
