While waiting for the evening flight of Mallards yesterday we shot a few Paradise shelduck that were suckers for the GHG FB duck decoys. The mallards swamped us at about 5.30pm and were all done with what we needed for our limits before 6.00pm. another great hunt!

Here is a pic of Murray retriving some bonus Parries

Great birds Paul, the Parries are great looking birds. I have a few at the taxidermist that should be coming back anyday!

Keep the pictures coming. You guys always keep us going through the summer. Duck season can't get here soon enough.

Are they not very smart?

Travis

they are the blondes of the duck world! I normally do not shoot them but the farmer asked us too. They are very easily decoyed

I would not want to be a duck anywhere near you guys these days, those are some wild numbers you guys are putting up!

Dumb or not, they would look nice on the wall.

Indeed they are a nice looking duck and much different than anything we'd see over here. More impressive is the limit of mallards taken in 30 minutes.

Can you call these birds? Try to send us some audio of what they sound like. Great work and I am very jealous.

Good Hunting!

Chad

they are very vocal and respond well to a call, they have a very high pitched call similar to a goose.
