Thats Impressive!! I would love to shoot a nice pintail bull this fall. I would love to attend some calling competitons. Possibly win one with my own call, or just win one. I've been to one calling competiton. Besides that, I would like to catch some good footage this year. I hope to get the ball rolling on my calls this summer a little bit more. I'm pumped to travel this year to different states and meet new people that share the same passion as I do. I'm really excited to take my little nephew out in the blind and get his blood flowing at a young age.

To make as many lifelong memories as I can with the people who share the same drive, passion and enjoyment in this wonderful tradition we call waterfowling.

Stuff I can hopefully control:
Get my dog as many birds as possible.
Hunt as many new locations as possible. (But also get to all my old spots as well)
Hunt as many days as work/family/girlfriend will allow.
Stuff I can't control- I want a pintail drake and I want another band. It took me 16 years to get my first one, so I'm thinking two in two years would be cool.
I want cold nasty weather, I mean the stuff only waterfowlers go out in. No more 60 degree days in January.

1. Learn to duck and goose call correctly (not just blowing where it sounds close)
2. Become a better shooter
3. Understand the movement of the birds better
4. Become better at setting up and changing a decoy spread based on conditions. And not being afraid to lose 15 minutes of hunting to hopefully improve the spread.
5. Harvest a mountable drake wood duck
6. Take my first Goose (Not having my safety on this time when I pull the trigger with a honker at 15 yards should improve my chances of this happening  )
7. Take my first Pheasant
8. Enjoy my first hunting trip to South Dakota with my friends
9. Spend some quality time with friends
10. And my #1 goal of this coming season is to be there with my 8 year old son when he takes his first duck.

I'm hoping to spend more time hunting with my son. He is going to be 8 this season. Last season he used a Rossi Junior 20ga, but it kicked him too much. I am probably going to buy him a Benneli Nova Pump Short Stock Youth 20ga and add a shoulder pad and something like a limbsaver product to reduce the kick. He is a very big kid for his age, so I think he should be able to handle it. What do you have your daughters shooting?

My goals:
To be more and more involved with Avery!
As for the season, I would like to shoot 100+ honkers...
I once read someone say "If you keep doing what you have been doing don't expect different results" or something like that.
I haven't been that successfull that last two years so I am going to try new areas and different strategies.
With our second kid on the way I will probably hunt less but more effient.

Plain and simple for me...Get my father out more. Hopefully he will have more time to join us next year in the field, but if not, I am going to make him do it. He can't sleep or make excuses if I am dragging him by his feet out of his bed and into the truck...

Get my Dad in the blind a little more often, he will be getting ready for a second knee replacement about the first split so I have my work cut out for me. Other than that I would like to shoot a fully plumed Pintail but not shoot half the pins off this year. Most importantly enjoy every day in the field.

Most of all enjoy the outdoors with friends and family hunting over beautiful Greenhead Gear goose decoys, and Givin' the geese a Shout with my new Money Maker and LM-1! :D

To get to go to more new places I haven't been before. I would love to get my dad more into waterfowling, get to be more involved with Avery throughout the season, and to hopefully get a few hunts on video. Most of all travel, see all our hard work this summer and spring planting and building blinds pay off, and enjoy another season doing what we all enjoy getting after those dern honkers and quackers!!

My goals are; to shoot a lot more mallards this year. I want to get out to places we didn't get to hunt last year and become friend with more local farmers. Get a lot more footage and finally, I am still after my first neck collar. We saw a bunch last year but taking a collar was my only goal last season hopefully this year I can get one!

Meet and stay in touch with at least 1 or 2 other Pro Staffers.
Hopefully share a little bit of Montana with some other Pro Staffers.
Make a trip to Sask/Canada for geese.
REALLY work on my goose calling to add sounds that I can't make consistantly now.
Get in better touch with Montana Avery retailers.
Thats it. But all that follows family as it should.
