With heavy rain on the way we new the ducks would fly so set up in a oat paddock the straw was quite high so used spinners to get more visibility, here is a pic of just after we set up waiting for the birds to move

we should not have worried about the spinners as we were right on the Mallards flight path and they just swarmed into the GHG FB dekes!
Here is the results of the hunt that we had to pluck this afternoon.

How many FBs are you running in your rig there? It's a nice set up. Congrats on the continued success.

Paul, do you guys shoot many grey ducks?

David

Pure Grey ducks are very rare. I would be lucky to shoot one a season, but there are lots of hybrids around that look very much like a Grey but have some Mallard features

Nice work. I can't imagine shooting that many ducks in one hunt.

Keep them coming, Paul. I am sure the ducks don't expect anything when coming into those new full body mallards and black ducks. Thanks for the post.
