Today i went to purchase my quebec fishing licence at that little store near by and i was surprised to see GHG decoys!!!! they finally understood that waterfowl hunting gear could interest people i said to myself!!! but after looking at the price i could not believe it 65$ CAN (BEFORE TAXES) FOR A SINGLE ghg hunter serie canada fb, 40$ can (before taxes) for a single ghg snow goose fb!!!   In other words it means after taxes about 64$usd each for the canada's and 44$ for the snow.... I am glad that Jocelyn Leger from CLUB LE MIGRATEUR gave me the name of a store near montreal who will probably help me get the few things i have to buy to complete my set up at a REASONABLE PRICE!!!! do not not ask why youngsters are not getting into the sport anymore... at this price you need a "mortage" to get a good set up... For now i am going fishing, this friday and saturday in a local waleye tournament on the st-lawrence and next week-end for land lock salmon and lake trout on champlain lake in the wilsboro (NY) area and also the burlington (VT) area.... The boat is ready until fall brings the feather creatures back!!! Have A good night Erick Grandbois:)

Erick
It is unfortunate that those of us that are "Geographically Challenged" have to carry the load of the high shipping costs to get products to our locations, but be assured that the Territory Managers are working hard to find ways to get Avery and GHG products to international locations at a price we can all afford.
Good luck with the fishing!

Rick has been working hard on this the last couple of years. Hopefully we can eventually help with this obvious problem in the near future.

Guys,
We are making progress and I am 100% sure you will see prices more in-line with other markets. It is tough when shipping, duties, and GST have to get factored in. We are making head way.
Thanks,
Christian Curtis

Thanks for the update Rick. Guys, he has been working his butt off on this for a while now. I don't know much about it but from my discussions with Rick, it is challenging but as he said, he will get you all hooked up in time. Thanks for the patience.

When I lived Canada, it was hard to get quality gear, at a resonable price.
Cabela's was my best bet most of the time.
Now, with a few Canadian retailers coming on board..it is easier...cheaper....not really....but I see one...that is really good and is also a member here.
Dux-N-Dogs, from Nova Scotia Canada. Ed is a great guy...and many that order from him, are pleased and satisfied.

Thanks for the kind words Erick, LAuzon Chasse et Pêche should be able to give you reasonnable pricing, and as mentionned before Lance and his crew will go a long way to insure customers satisfaction. Please do not hesitate to contact him, or even PM me if further assistance is required, maybe we'll get to meet sometime, I'll be at "Le Salon Des Sauvaginiers de l'Estrie" (Waterfowl Show) on June 16th and 17th displaying Avery-GHG products.
Have some good fishing weekends, and thanks for choosing Avery-GHG products.
And also thanks to Mr. Frisch for all the hard work involve.
