I have two of the first finishers every made w/the green material used on the bottem. I was told that they were two of the very few that were made here in the states. I was wandering how many were made here? Just wanting to know how rare they are. They still hunt good to this day.

I don't have the answer to that question. I don't know who would. When they first came out they were $379.99. The price kept us from producing a bunch that first year.

Thanks,

Are the blinds still in good shape? If you try to sell them let us know, because I am sure that there are a few people that would love to have them.

They are still hunted in. They are not in the best shape, been hunted hard in for several years. They are twice the weight as the new ones, and have those cones on the door that were meant to flag out of. I'm not looking to sell them. I just wanted to be able to tell others that these were two of the first __ ever made by Avery.

I still have one as well. It is holding up great. I think it was the second run, but still has the flag hole in the door and is the old shawdow grass. Green tubes and no plastic parts:D

I thought I was told that there was only about 50 of those made here, but it's been a few years and I can't remember.

As we upgraded and improved upon the design I sold my originals off, but I still have a couple of the cases. They'll come in handy some day for something...(I just don't know what yet!)
