That looks great Michael. I have a spot down here on the Lower Columbia that would be deadly in that boat. ;)

That is exactly what I am looking for for my Stealth 2000 also!!! But the bad part is I don't know anyone around here that would do the welding for me!?!?! I will have to come up with some type of creation though before this coming season...which will be here sooner then you realize!!! Thanks for the pics!

Belding, do you boys hunt layout style at Stillwater? Or anywhere in Nevada for that matter..?...

I will be driving to Reno for the opener this October like I do every year and I'll will be testing the boat at Nutgrass(If there's water) and Greenhead club... Have you heard anything about the water cond. out there?

I was wondering if y'all could pass on some info about the Stealth 2000. Do any of y'all use it in deep water (3-5 ft.) and if so how well does it take waves, rough water, etc. Is it easy to paddle? If you use a trolling motor - what size? Fully loaded how shallow of water will it travel across? Do any of y'all have the dog ramp and how well does it work? Any other information that you have would be great!!!! THANKS!

Gunner - Shoot a PM to Shane Rossen. He is the only guy I know that has hunted out of the Stealth... That is his boat in the pictures... I just help design and do the welding....

Good luck!

I've got one of the original stealth boats. I've paddled it across open water -- it is a very stable boat for it's size. Those plastic 'pontoons' on each side make it as stable as they advertise it to be. They are fairly easy to paddle. I've never tried it with a motor, but I would guess a little electric trolling motor would work awesome! Good boat!

It will float in 4 to 5 inches of water loaded I have had it in water over my head with a good chop not what I call rough water.. If you are hunting that big of water with any smaller duck boat you probably should not be out there when it gets that rough use sound judgment on that one . I will tell you this it is extremely stable and paddles easy . I do not use a motor on it at this point because I don't want to use any of my storage space for a battery or gas can. I like to travel with the bare necessities Blind bag ,camera, shotgun and last bot not least toilet paper! LoL and yes it is stable enough:D
I have a dog ramp coming I will let you know on that one..
I love this boat its tough and it serves it's purpose getting to the duck in the hard to reach places and then some!

The only con I have for this boat is I wish they would have built the dog plat form into a reinforced cover for a front storage compartment. right now they have it where the front is just a dog platform....

Hope this helped you!

I agree with Shane! These boats are so stable. I have never even come close to flipping this boat, actually I don't think you can! I have a 2 hp motor on mine and works great! Even if you are not close to water the boat can be drug by yourself or carried by to guys.
