I came up with a simple solution a few years back for deep water duck hunts. I went to the local hardware/plumbing store and bought PVC pipe, cut one to 5 ft. and one to 10 ft., spray painted both poles with a dark green. The pole i have for my Mojo has a little peg sticking out to push in with your foot. That peg will rest on top of the PVC and you'll be hunting in no time.

We have just used a big aluminum tube in the past that is about 10 feet long, and it has worked for us!

steel electrical conduit is what we use. I also use it for my great blue herron if the water is too deep.

i made some that have a 12"x12" plate and 3/4" square pole welded on them with some gussets as corner brackets to make them solid. they are 4' long and you could make them as long as you would need i guess..i will try and get some pics of them up for you.

here is what i made up..the rivers are so rocky around here, it just makes it easy to set em down and not have to worry about trying to get them to stand up..

Dont use a mojo!! i hate robo ducks with a passion!! NO offense to yall that use um but i would much rather make it more of a challenge for my self and rely on a call in hand than a robo! Also we shoot more geese with out one too. but i do like Chads idea, for the mud maybe add about an 18" stick of tubing to the bottom part on the underneth side of his creation to get even more of a grab on the bottom.

Uae a piece of 1/2" or 3/4" conduit. I took the piece of square tubing that comes with the mojo and bolted it to the conduit. Use what ever length that works. In southern MN I get by with about a 6-8 footer. sometimes they stick up a little higher depending on the bottom of the lake/slough. Hope this was helpful.

You guys just saved me a few dollars on my next order. The conduit ideas is good, but I suppose its important to use a larger diameter conduit so that the pipe will suppor the weight of the pipe and decoy? Yes?

Just use steel electrical conduit. I think 3/4 " is what we use.

Theres always a time and a place to use a mojo and it works very well, but when the water was higher than what the pole was, we electrical taped a boat orr to the pole and shoved the paddle part down into the mudd and that worked!!!
