We shoot them every chance we get in the dove field. There are a couple of people with pidgeon decoys and actually hunt for them here on the forum. I think it would be fun. Plus their numbers need to be knocked down.

me and my buddies shoot pigeons all the time even though I have pet homing pigeons great way to get Brownie points and permission from farmers and its fun!

my dad just killed 5 pigeons and bbq' d them today... he didnt shoot them ( and wouldnt let me have some target practice) but got them from his cousin who raises them.. 3 had bands.

we let em land on the barn then have one person sneak around to the otherside and shoot one off of the roof and when they fly the other people on the other side of the roof under the eves will have the birds fly right over you really low makes for a fun shoot! we usually give our birds to the farm hand who really seems to like em'.

our best day was on a cow farm, 5 of us killed 168... that we could find. Using mojo doves, they came in just like ducks..
