View Full Version : Using sleepers and resters in 6 to 8 inch water

Our club will 6 to 8 inches of water this year and i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on usin these decoys at that depth! and could you post pics if you have the same scenario

If it's going to be more of a permanent situation you could put pallets where you want to put the full bodies.

Just a thought.

Isnt 6-8 inches of water prime for waterfowl feeding anyway? One tip that my guides and I will be applying this season is the use of Full Body Mallards in a flooded timber spot - water in many places is only 6-8 inches deep. We plan to use some of the fallen timber as a stand to place the dekes by drilling some holes in the logs. Later towards the season, I'll try to remember to post some photos.

Might be easier just to get some of the new floating sleeper mallards. Same great look and less work.
