You have 7 days to duck hunt for the entire season, only one week to get it done. Which days will you decide to go? Ill take Christmas week.

Thanksgiving week. Generally the opener of the DE second split. Historically has been a rainy, windy week. Results get put in the bag.

Thanksgiving by far.....you never know what water will be open around christmas and there are way too many geese flying in corn fields to be getting my hands wet.

Christmas week is good but any week after that before the season closes in late January is a winner.

I have always been a fan of the week of Thanksgiving for many reason, mainly since it is about the same week as our opener duck season and the early season is generally the best time to hunt. Plus all of the good food, friends, and family.

last week of duck season in january when it gets cold and all the ducks finally show up, either that or a week in november

I'd take 1st of november. Because divers are starting to arrive and snows too here in Quebec

the last week of duck season, birds are in full plumage and the cold makes you make every shot count!

first week of november. not even a second thought on that one. Divers are in by the thousands(normally tons of brand new stupid birds). Mallards and geese making the big migration. oh man

Third week in January, We seem to get a hard freeze that forces all the ducks to go to the river or south. The Ducks and Geese lose their patterns and change their priorities.

First week in November or the opening week.

But if I had to only choose one week I would have to SERIOUSLY reconsider my current lifestyle.

I would love to be able to still be hunting something other than fish in the fish house here around christmas time in MN. I would have to say the first part of Nov. That is when the wind blows from the NW and it gets cold. I love it then too because it gets rid of all of the idiots because it is way too cold for them:D , but not for me.

Christmas week is pretty good down here for us.

I like the last week of the season. More green for us down here then.
