Hope you fella's don't mind me posting this here, figured with Avery being partnered with DU it would be ok. You don't have to be present to win but would need to pick the boat up in central NC. We'll have tickets available online as soon as we get the rest of the package together.
The Rowan-Salisbury DU chapter purchased one of my boats that we are going to raffle off. Included will be a motor (either 15 or 20 hp), trailer and more than likely, a shotgun, dozen decoys (I'll make sure they're GHG :) ) and a pair of life jackets. Tickets are going to be $20 and will sell from now (as soon as we can get everything finalized) until March 22, 2008 (the date of our Banquet). I will give more details once everything is set to go.
A little different than the normal DH's. The DU edition has tan spray-in liner, 7 LED lights on the interior and 1 in each compartment, also she has spray liner patches on the deck for a non-slip surface as well as all the DU logos and name. Of course it still made from all marine ply (Okoume BS 1088), sheathed in 6 oz glass and epoxy, has full emergency floatation, 1000 gph bilge, running lights, fog lights, 3 fused auxillary outlets, 4 switch rocker panel, all marine grade wire, graphite thickened epoxy bottom (super slick), aluminum bracket over the transom, parker paint, and a premium battery tray up front.

Brad,
What does the boat normally sell for? It looks like a pretty neat setup.
Thanks,

Thanks fellas, be sure and keep it in mind once I post up info for tickets. We will have tickets available to be purchased online at my website. Instead of me sending and responding to so many pm's. Here's a link to my website, I hope you guys don't mind. If so just let me know and I'll edit and delete.

I looked at your website and wow! Those are some extremely nice boats you are putting out! I hope the forum will allow you to keep the link, this is a great resource for someone that is looking to get a quality boat! Now after looking at your boats, you need a good lightweight layout boat with alot of the features you have on the boats with the lights built in, etc. Just needs to be smaller and lighterweight, say 12' in length and under 100 lbs. Also a need idea for your boats would be a hard blind option, I like the use of the wire coated shelving you're using for the racks/blind doors. Very nice boats indeed!!

Thank you greatly. I scarfed some lumber and cut out the floor for a mudmotor version I've had drawn up for awhile, last night and this morning. I'll begin working on it tomorrow. Not sure how long it will take me to finish as I go back to my real job of teaching on Monday. But I hope to be done by around Christmas if not before. After that, depending on some pending orders I've also got plans for a small marshboat drawn up that fits the bill of what you described.
Thanks again,
Brad

Very nice boat. I already know I am going to win. Now I have to figure out how I will get it from NC to OR. Won't that be a wonderful problem to have...

I really appreciate the kind words and hope you fellas will pick up some raffle tickets once they go on sale. Right now I've got 2 boats in OR both of those fellas met me in ND last Oct when we went our for our annual hunt. So I'll tell you what, you win it I'll meet you in ND next Oct for a very nominal fee and you can even shoot some of those central flyway birds while you're out there!

Thanks guys.
Very well actually, at a least as far as safety goes. I've been out in 20 + mph winds and 2-3 swells. However, it is still a flat bottom which will make for a wet ride if the waves are 2' or so. A spray shield would do wonders for it.
