Avery Shells Paint problems

I was wondering if anyone else has been having any trouble with the paint chipping on the Avery Oversized shells? Also, is avery aware of this issue. I have new shells that have been out once and the paint is starting to chip off. I don't want to send them in or anything as I am needing them coming up. Just wanted some opinions on this from everyone on how theirs are holding up and to make Avery aware of this if they aren't.

Definitely call customer service about this. They will take care of you and you should be able to keep your decoys until replacements come.

My shells are the oldest dekes in my "fleet", I'm guessing 5+ years old, sometime around the time when Avery started making flocked head dekes. They were what started this whole addiction!!!

I have beat the crap out of those poor things, they ride on the hitch hauler of my ATV every season. They have some paint that has come off the tail feather area, and around the bottoms, but no large areas of flaking or anything like that. Some of my buddies have the same dekes, only newer and haven't said anything about paint issues.

No problems to speak of aside from a small nick here and there from use and stacking. Nothing out of the normal.

I have had some for 2 years now, and besides the paint on the sides rubbin off from stackin them, they are real good!
