Per Cabela's Corporate Event Coordinators the Reno location does not currently have a scheduled Grand Opening date on the docket . If that status changes we will post up the info.

Don't know who might attend on behalf of Zink Calls but Avery Pro-Staffers Rich Good, Kenny Nachtman, and Josh Ernst will be there on behalf of Avery/Greenhead Gear!

I have been going by the Reno Cabelas and the sign says Nov 7th I think... Can't wait to see it... I've got Safari Club Int.. dinner tickets and part of the dinner is an earlie entry to the store before it 'opens'... This is going to be sweet!!!

East Hartford, Connecticut
In industry parlance the event on October 19th is what is termed a "Soft Opening" and we will not have P-Sers in attendance then. However the date for the "Grand Opening" Event is November 10-11 and we will have Pro-Staffers there.

Is anyone familiar with the Hammond, IN Area? Hunting opportunities in the area? Looks like it is a pretty urban area. I might try to get over there a day or two early and hunt.

Kyle,
Good luck brother, unless you know someone to hunt with. That area is sealed up tighter than a drum!!! No openings to knock on doors, like stated the area is highly populated and alot of hunting pressure and guys already hunting. My suggestion would be to try and get with someone that is already hunting if possible. There is some great goose hunting in the area though. Good luck! I might see you up there while representing Buck Gardner Calls.
i just heard they bought out S.I.R. here in Canada..............right on, be the first one here i think

Thanks Matt. I kind figured that area would be tuff to find a place. You saved me a couple of days of pain and struggling.
