Avery boats???

Has Avery ever "floated" the idea of making a marsh boat?

FA has intro'd their model this fall....so some of us were just wonderin' if Avery will follow up with some competition.

Any opinions on a good marsh boat would be appreciated...kinda lookin'

Have you checked out MoMarsh. I've heard some good things about them.

Rick, kinda thought so. That's a big jump into that market.

Ellis, I have heard of MoMarsh, and they look nice. I've been searching forums endlessly regarding layout boats!

I've narrowed it down to MoMarsh and Four Rivers. Both have some great features. I've searched and found a few Avery Prostaffers have MoMarsh boats as well.

It comes down to this, both meet my simple needs, but when it comes to the dog, MoMarsh has the dog in the cockpit behind the hunter, and Four Rivers has the dog out of the cockpit behind the hunter. I like the idea of keeping the dog hidden lower behind me, but am concerned about the volume of water the dog will "bring" into the boat.

Any experienced users...???

BDO, I was told that if you put a rubbermaid container in the dog area, that it will catch most of the water. Just get one that is a good fit. When the water starts getting caught up in the container, just empty it out. This should work.

I beleive a turd in a punchbowl would be a better marsh boat than the F.A. Gunner. Avery's decoys are superior and F.A s are not, thats why Avery doesnt need to make a boat at this time, but if they do you can bet it would be the cream of the crop. TRas's boat is bad to the bone!!!!!!!!!! And so is yours JN!!!!!!!!!!
