mallard and canada field spread???

I just purchased a dozen FB mallards to go with our 5 1/2 doz FB canadas and lessers, I need some help with how to set them together in the field, we put them out yesterday and had a really hard time finishing canadas. Thanks in advance, all help is appreciated.

This is sort of what our spread looked like on the 2nd day of the season. We put a few small groups of FB Mallards out downwind as if they just landed and then we put the main group of Mallards in and around our blinds and behind us. We usually put 90% of our FB mallards behind us.
