Season is just about here in the valley. I have seen a ton of birds and scouted a litte slough this evening and saw about 500 wood ducks can't wait until sat.. Let me know how eveyone does this weekend

And I thought I was impressed with the dozen woodies thats sticked around for the opener when they normally leave earlier. We decided to just shoot two and both are in prefect condition to get mounted.

As soon as Figure out how to post pictures i put some of this weekend on. We shot 4 limits by 8:15 sat and 2 limits on sunday and about half where woodies. We shoot alot of wood ducks early in the valley.

We also got a 4 person 28 bird limit on Saturday here in the valley. Almost all wood ducks. Was a fast paced and fun shoot.

In Oregon we can shoot a limit of wood ducks.(7)
