North Jersey Opener

It was a day of ducks- shooting ducks and eating ducks. We headed north and did well with a mixed bag of birds. Were it not for a malfunctioning firearm, I believe a few more birds would have been collected. The highlight of the morning was a big flock of perhaps 20 drake wood ducks, colors glistening in the sun - that found out decoys.

Brown bacon sides - then cover all with grated PepperJack - cover and melt

Congrats on the hunt! By the looks of that tasty plate of duck, you're not far from (Grill Master) Rob's culinary skills. I'm sure he's teaching all of our northern neighbors a thing or two about grilling as I type. Do you remember that pork he made at the Pro-Staff training in Maryland in 06? That was unbelievable.........I know his secret sauce and I'll sell it to the highest bidder!
