A buddy and I are going to hunt the St. Louis River in a back bay in northern WI. We are setting up on shore with an estimated 17 mph wind at our backs. We have only mallard and goose decoys that we set up, and I am worried that we will be seeing bills and divers land out of range all morning. Any tips on how to get these ducks into range? Thanks.

Run a line of decoys out to where they are going to be flying leading back to your main spred. They should follow the line to you.
